NFL Signs Official Betting Partnerships With Three Sportsbooks

The NFL recently became the last American sports league to sign an official betting deal, and three sportsbooks have been named official partners. These partners will receive official league data and information, as well as other benefits, such as promoting their partnership with the league and tying their brands to statistics. The five-year deal could generate nearly $1 billion in revenue for the NFL if it is kept up and if the league doesn’t opt out after three years.

The partnership will include a mobile app with updated betting odds, enhanced offers, and multiple betting formats. The Liberty joined the PGA TOUR’s Official Betting Operator program in November 2021, while the Knicks, Rangers, and Madison Square Garden also made the list. BetMGM and Betway also announced partnerships with six NBA/NHL franchises in March 2021. The partnerships will allow these companies to promote their brands in the US and in other countries where the sport is legal.

As an official sports betting partner, DraftKings will have on-site brand exposure throughout the MLB Postseason. The company will also debut its 2021 T-Mobile Home Run Derby, including an on-field “Hit It Here” trigger. The partnership will also feature two free-to-play pools around the Home Run Derby, with prizes totaling $50K. The company’s social media presence is also key. The sports betting website should have multiple channels through which players can reach out for support in case of any issues.
